Resetting Circuit Breakers

When a circuit breaker trips, it has detected a fault in the wiring. Once you have determined what caused the fault and have cleared the problem, you will need to reset the circuit breaker. To reset the breaker, push the handle to the off position until you feel a click or the breaker handle locks into a solid position. Then push the handle to the on position, keeping a firm pressure on the handle while moving it from the off position to the on position.
